In Zusammenarbeit mit der

Scientia Pro Europa

Unter dem Motto SCIENTIA PRO EUROPA vergibt der Europäische Kartellverband – in Kooperation mit der Collegialität Privatstiftung – dieses Jahr einen Preis für akademische Leistungen rund um die Europäische Idee!

**Der Preis ist für alle Mitglieder einer EKV-Korporation zugänglich.**

Insgesamt werden €2500,- vergeben, wobei €1500,- der erstplatzierten, und jeweils 500€ der jeweils zweit- und drittplatzierten Person überreicht werden.
Die offizielle Verleihung findet im Rahmen der Scientia Fonds Gala des ÖCV statt, alle notwendigen Informationen werden ehestmöglich kommuniziert.

Einsendefrist für Bewerbungen ist der
31. März 2023.

This year, the ‚Europäische Kartellverband‘ – in cooperation with the Private Foundation ‚Collegialität‘ – again awards a prize for academic achievements related to the European idea Under the motto SCIENTIA PRO EUROPA!

**The price is accessible to all members of an EKV corporation.**

A total of €2,500 will be awarded, with €1,500 being awarded to the first-place winner and €500 each to the second and third-place winners.
The official award ceremony will take place as part of the ÖCV’s Scientia Fund Gala, all necessary information will be communicated as soon as possible.

The deadline for applications is
March 31st 2023.

Benötigte Unterlagen:

  • Bewerbungsschreiben mit Verweis auf die thematische Relevanz der Arbeit sowie die individuellen Karriereziele
  • kurzes Empfehlungsschreiben der Verbindung im EKV,
  • Abschlussarbeit einschl. Abstract,
  • Sämtliche Gutachten der Arbeit,
  • Abschluss- und Sammelzeugnis (bei Abschlussarbeiten) oder den Bescheid über die Verleihung der Lehrbefugnis (bei Habilitationen),
  • Tabellarischer Lebenslauf mit Bildungsweg, Berufserfahrung, couleurstudentische und ggf. andere ehrenamtliche Tätigkeiten,
  • ggf. eine Publikationsliste

Welche Arbeiten werden angenommen?

Wir suchen Arbeiten, die entweder die europäische Idee selbst zum Thema haben, kulturelle Identität(en) in Europa behandeln und / oder sich mit großen aktuellen europäischen Herausforderungen auseinandersetzen, wie z.B. demografischer Wandel, Digitalisierung, Sicherheit, Migration / Integration, medizinische Versorgung, Alterung, Gesundheit und Nachhaltigkeit.

Teilnehmen können alle Kartellschwestern und Kartellbrüder der EKV-Verbände und Mitgliedsverbindungen.

Required Documents:

  • Letter of application with reference to the thematic relevance of the work and individual career goals
  • short letter of recommendation from the corporation in the EKV,
  • Final work including abstract
  • all reports of the thesis
  • Final and summary certificate (for final theses) or notification of the granting of the license to teach (for habilitations)
  • Curriculum vitae in tabular form with educational background, professional experience, student and, if applicable, other voluntary activities
  • if applicable, a list of publications

What theses are accepted?

We are looking for theses that either deal with the European idea itself, increase cultural identity(ies) in Europe and/or deal with major current European challenges, such as demographic change, digitization, security, migration / integration, medical care, aging and health and sustainability.

All members of the EKV associations and member corporations can take part.
